Cherry Hinton Village Leisure Centre on Colville Road is a friendly, no-frills community hub south-east of Cambridge city centre, with no pool but a real village feel. The sports hall hosts badminton, basketball, 5-a-side football and pickleball, and racquet equipment is available to hire on site. Sweat Muma Cambridge runs exercise classes for mums and babies here, and Tang Soo Do martial arts sessions cater for adults and juniors from age 7 upwards. There's a small gym, a range of fitness classes from yoga to Zumba, and a large conference room available to hire for birthday parties and celebrations. It's a genuinely welcoming, inclusive local spot.
