No, Let's Go Punting is not wheelchair friendly. Whilst wheelchairs cannot be brought onto the punts if you are able to come onto the punt with assistance we can look after your wheelchair at our departure point. For more information on this please contact the office: 01223 651 659

Are all areas of the attraction accessible with a pushchair?

Yes, all areas are pushchair friendly. All pushchairs must be left at our check-in desk or folded down to be put on the punt.

Yes there is dining and snack options. Picnics are available to purchase with a minimum of 48 hours' notice. There are also a number of food outlets on the Quayside where you can purchase food and drinks before boarding. before

No, there is no parking. We don't have any parking at our departure point. We recommend using Cambridge Park and Ride or one of the city centre car parks.

Yes, Let's Go Punting has stated that you can hire privately for parties/events. Private tours are available.

Do visitors need to pre-book time slots or tickets to get into the attraction?

No, Let's Go Punting had stated that you do not need to pre-book. It is advisable to prebook as tickets do sell out. We also offer discounted tickets online.

Yes, there are toilets available to the public. There are public conveniences available on the Quayside next to Cafe Foy and on Jesus Green behind the kiosk near the lock.

Let’s Go Punting is a small, independent Punting company, specialising in private and shared Chauffeured River Tours of Cambridge. Punting is ‘the ideal way’ to see the riverside colleges in comfort & style. Our 50-minute return tours cover the length of the college backs between Magdalene College and Silver Street Bridge.

Parking

The easiest way to visit Cambridge by car is by using one of the 5 Park and Ride sites surrounding the city. There are a number of multi-story car parks in the city Centre Click here for more information on Council Car Parks.
There are also 2-hour Pay and Display bays on Pound Hill and Chesterton Lane, which are free after 5pm.
Please note that traffic can be extremely heavy in Cambridge City Centre, especially at the weekends. Please leave plenty of time to complete your journey to avoid arriving late.

Public Transport
From the train station, take any bus into the city Centre. From the main city Centre bus terminal (Drummer St) our punt station is a 10-minute walk along Bridge Street. From the city centre put Lets Go Punting into the maps app on your phone or ask any local for directions to the Quayside / La Mimosa Restaurant. Alternatively, you can walk (30 minutes), or take a taxi from the station.
