Roomination Escape Rooms invite you and your family and friends to come along and take part in a thrilling team game that’s designed to excite, delight, and entertain! Prepare to be fully immersed in your own adventure as you embark on our unique escape room quest. Family friendly and fun for all ages! We are located in Llanfyllin Workhouse which also has a museum and exhibitions.
You and your team of between 2 to 6 people will be "locked" in a room for an hour. You will have to don your logical hats as you try to unravel the mysteries of the room by finding clues, solving riddles and completing puzzles that will help you to escape.
Escape rooms are usually based around a theme. Here at Roomination, our first room is pirate themed, so you will be solving clues in a room set up as a pirate ship.
Whilst our games are predominantly aimed at adults, they are still suitable for players aged 10 and over, although at least one adult over 18 is required to be present at all times. Some clues may be challenging for younger players, however hints can be given to help you along if needed.
We allow well-behaved dogs in the room. There isn’t much room in the game initially so please bear that in mind before bringing your dog if you are part of a big group.
Our first game “Escape from the Cursed Galleon” is pirate themed, and is aimed at groups of all ages. The room is quite dark and atmospheric but it is suitable for all ages. There are no loud or sudden noises or surprises, and the theme itself is tailored towards families and children. We have had children as young as 6 who have played along and been fine with the experience, and even babies that have slept all the way through!
