About Battlefield Falconry Centre
Battlefield Falconry Centre has a wonderful collection of over 30 birds, and a good variety of species of owl, hawk, and falcon. Recent additions that the kids won't want to miss are a Great Grey Owl and a Steppe Eagle, there is also a Green Winged Macaw called Woody!
This is a great place to show the kids some amazing birds of prey without breaking the bank! Children aged 14 and over also have the opportunity to have a go at a number of bird experiences, provided that an adult supervises them.
There is a Hawk Walk, a Bird of Prey Experience, and a Bird Handling session to choose from, all of which give older kids a chance to get close to, and even fly some beautiful birds. Full training and equipment are provided, plus some interesting information about the birds from the experienced falconer.
Photography sessions and Children's Parties are also offered, plus additional events during the school holidays.
