About Rapid Horizons Llangollen
Rapid Horizons offer exciting and splashtastic fun, with their friendly staff members. This half day trip is a great way to explore the river Dee, which is a favourite of kayakers around the country. The first half of the journey travels through some great whitewater, including the grade 4 rapid called the Serpents Tail! The middle section has some fun waves to ‘surf' along on the raft, followed by another rapid called Town Falls. This is a pretty serious rapid, so make sure you listen to your guides as you go through this section. The river becomes gentler as you head into the countryside, ending your journey at Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Once you are back on dry land, you can enjoy the lunch that is included in the price. Rafting is a safe way to explore whitewater rivers, with fully qualified IRF and BCU Raft Guides taking you on this exciting ride. Wetsuit, helmet, waterproof top and lunch all including in the price.
