Attraction Information
Springhill Farm Riding Stables is a horse riding and trekking centre that has been approved by the British Horse Society.
The horses are amazing, well schooled, well mannered and all very well cared for, and the friendly instructors have many years of experience.
Riding lessons can be structured to suit ability, whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced rider who would like to improve their riding skills.
Pony Sessions are held every Saturday morning and are suitable for kids aged 8 and older, who have had at least 3 riding lessons with the stables. The session starts with a riding lesson, but also includes riding theory and stable management.
Teenage Riding holidays are available for kids aged 12 years and older, which is a great experience for both new riders and those who have been before.
A riding hat will be supplied at no extra charge and riding boots are not essential, but kids will need a shoe or boot with a small square heel to stop their foot sliding through the stirrup. It is also a good idea to dress for comfort and to bear in mind that you will be outside.
