Attraction Information
If you’re looking for a hidden gem - one of outstanding natural beauty no less - then roll on up to Ty Mawr Country Park.
This is a wonderful way for the family to get to grips with nature, with trails running beneath the Cefn Viaduct, past the banks of the River Dee and along the Cefn Heritage Trail. See what local creatures you can spot, pack a picnic and, at the right times of year, see the leaves change or the flowers blooming.
Ty Mawr is also home to plenty of farmyard fun, with furry faces like donkeys, goats and pigs - just don’t miss a chance to say hello to Carlos and Pedro, the local Llamas. They’re tasked with guarding the sheep against foxes but are really a pair of old softies!
- Country walks and nature trails
- Visit cuddly farmyard creatures
- Pack a picnic and marvel at the views!
