Powderham Castle is packed with medieval intrigue, cute creatures and play all day, every day!
Begin with a guided tour of the castle which run at regular intervals and will give you all the behind the scenes info befitting little lords and ladies. Once they’re in the know, they can dash off into the Play Fort with its suspension bridge, nets, climbing wall, monkey bars, a slide and one daring zip wire: perfect play for your under 12s.
Kids will fall in love at Pet's Corner with an adorable donkey, pot-bellied pigs, goats, guinea pigs, tortoises, and even stick-insects! You can take the animal adventuring outside into the Deer Safari Park and follow their interactive animal print trail, or explore the Walled Garden. PLUS there’s plenty on their summer schedule for kids to enjoy.

We had a lovely day at Powderham Castle. Very friendly staff and lots to see and do. Well worth a visit if the weather's nice.
