Discover Britain's Wonderful Wildlife- It's a REAL natural history experience!
The British Wildlife Centre in the heart of the East Surrey countryside is home to the finest collection of native species in the country, where you will see and learn about Britain’s own wonderful wildlife, with over forty different species on display.
Here you’ll view rarely seen species such as otters, Scottish wildcats and pine martens, as well as foxes, deer and beautiful free-flying British owls. View snoozing badgers in their underground sett and take a stroll in the Copse among free-ranging red squirrels in Britain’s first Walk-through Red Squirrel Enclosure. Regular keeper talks give you the chance to learn more about these animals, while seeing them even closer - find out more. The Centre provides fabulous opportunities for wildlife photography.
Adjacent to one of the picnic areas and open during the high season, Pip’s Corner is an outdoor play area on the edge of the deer park, where your little cubs and kittens can let off some steam.
The Centre includes a coffee shop, picnic areas, a wildlife-themed gift shop and free on-site parking. It’s easily accessible on the A22 at Newchapel, near Lingfield, just 10 minutes south of the M25 Junction 6 (Godstone).
