Attraction Information
Wimborne Minster Model Town was built well over 50 years ago and the superb 1/10th scale models continue to surprise and amaze visitors from all over the world with their superb quality and realism.
The fun family worksheets, suitable for all age groups which are provided free of charge, lead you through the many Streets and Lanes including the colourful prize winning gardens (including sensory area), searching for those elusive clues. Eventually you approach Wendy Street, a designated safe play area for younger visitors. The four Wendy Houses provide plenty of amusement for smaller guests and everyone loves the model railway.
After, why not test your skills on their giant outdoor chess game or try your luck on the new Putting Lawn?

Not open 1 out of 5 stars
Saw this on your website and thought my three year old would love it. After a lengthy car journey we realised on arriving that the model village is not open until 1st April and not from the 19th March as stated on your website. If you are going to display opening dates on your website please ensure that they are correct as 3hrs in the car round trip as a wasted journey doesn't go down well with families with small children. Disappointed but hope we will get to see it when it is open!
