Who wouldn't want to sit at the controls of a real aircraft? Well, at Bournemouth Aviation Museum there are many to choose from, lots of military aircraft, including a Hawker Hunter as well as small civilian planes too.
There are loads of other Aviation exhibits including a collection of model aircraft and heritage exhibits.
At Bournemouth Aviation Museum there is also an area for picnics and as we are across the road from Bournemouth Airport we are close to the main runway, so we have a viewing platform to view the arrivals and departures.
Visitors of all ages are encouraged to climb into the cockpits of many of our aircraft. Imagine what it is like to be a pilot by handling the controls and fly away to wherever your imagination desires or if you come on a SIM day, you can fly our simulator to see if you can fly an aircraft too!
