About Rugby Art Gallery and Museum

The heritage journey spans Roman times, Rugby’s rich industrial heritage, and the birth of the famous game. Three changing gallery spaces showcase exciting exhibitions of contemporary and modern art as well the talents of local artists and craftspeople.

Students and school groups can be inspired and challenged in new and exciting ways by an innovative education programme designed to bring fresh creativity to learning.

On permanent display in the Archaeology Gallery is the Tripontium collection - a showcase for the artefacts from the Romano-British town of Tripontium, which was located five miles from the centre of modern Rugby. The gallery, in the style of a Roman market place, is an interactive space where children can have fun as they learn about Roman life.

Free educational fun throughout three floors

A wonderful free space all year round for visitors of all ages. So much to do and so many opportunities to get involved and learn something new. Families can engage with role play and creative hands on activities. We also offer free holiday hunts around the building which children love and return to over and over again.

New and exciting exhibitions

We always have something new to see and do. Opportunities to engage with our exhibitions are also extremely popular, from artist talks to portfolio reviews and workshops, there are so many ways to learn...and all for free

Night At Your Museum
