Attraction Information

Looking for a burst of culture with the kids? Check out displays of contemporary modern art, history and a whole host of fun activities at the Rugby Art Gallery & Museum.

Take a trip through time as you walk through a Roman market, filled with amazing artefacts and activities. The kids can dress up like a Roman and immerse themselves in Roman roleplay, working different roles within the bustling market scene. They will uncover the impact the Roman Empire had on Modern Britain. Step into the shoes of an archaeologist and hunt for missing pot-pieces and fossils. Discover not only Roman, but local artefacts too! Dive deep into the social history of Rugby town and the changes it has gone through the ages. Why not explore Floor One of the gallery and browse the latest art and photography exhibition! There are also creative workshops and activities to get stuck into. The Balcony Gallery holds large, everchanging exhibits with a kids' activity corner to keep the little ones entertained.

The Rugby Art Gallery & Museum is a great day out for the family, especially if you are looking for somewhere to inspire your kids with creativity and knowledge. The museum also has a quirky gift shop to take away some spectacular souvenirs - I bet they’ll have loads to talk about at the next show and tell!
