At Made By Me Pottery Painting Studio, you don’t just paint pottery—you create memories. Whether you’re a first-time painter or a seasoned artist, our welcoming studio makes it easy to relax, explore your creativity, and design something uniquely yours.

You will love us if you are looking for somewhere to take the whole family - from toddlers to teens - art is for everyone!
Our studio is based in the village of Westham, Pevensey, very close to Pevensey Castle. Make a day of it by visiting the castle and then relaxing in our studio where two hours will fly by! We have coffee and cake too! And people love our cream tea’s baked fresh by a talented local baker.
In addition to pottery painting - available at any time - We offer a range of workshops and host events throughout the year, including clay building and a range of craft classes. You can see what’s coming up on our website.
In the school holidays we are open every day, and offer a range of workshops to spark creativity such as our popular Harry Potter inspired clay building workshop where you can build your own sorting hat and our jellycat inspired clay workshop where you can create your favourite soft toy in clay - super cute!
We also offer seasonal workshops, including Halloween themed events, and loads of Christmas workshops to get you into the festive mood. Christmas music will be playing, and we will have some delicious Christmas bakes to try.
Valentines and Easter also have special workshops - and during the summer months we have plenty of arts and craft workshops to choose from, taking inspiration from our East Sussex location where our stunning cliffs and beaches give us many reasons to paint.
Made By Me Pottery Painting Studio is a perfect destination for the whole family. We cater for all ages. Teenagers love our place - it is instagram worthy! Grandparents are also loving our place. It is the perfect place to bring the grandchildren and make special memories.
We have plenty of tea and coffee, cakes and cream tea. Our small retail section sells cards, wrapping paper, oils and wax melts, and of course, art supplies.
For smaller children, twice a month we host a storytelling painting workshop for pre-school children where they will hear a story and paint a character from the book.
We also cater for children with special needs. We have adaptive art tools and the owner of this business previously worked with children with disabilities and can assist. These tools are also very good for anyone who has a health condition that might prevent them from painting due to shakiness.
For people visiting the area on holiday or from out of town - we have you covered. We offer postage and packaging so you can paint pottery, leave for glazing and firing and then we will send it on.

Made by Me is situated on the High Street in the beautiful village of Westham. We are very close to Pevensey Castle and we are 2 minutes from Pevensey and Westham Train Station. There is ample on-street parking and the benefit of a free car park next to Westham Village Hall, less than 30 seconds walk away. The postcode for the car park is BN24 5HE.
