Attraction Information
On Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway travel behind the famous miniature steam or diesel locomotives as they meander for nearly a mile around the beautiful country park. Alternatively stretch your legs with a gentle stroll around the 5 acre lake, just bring your sensible shoes or boots, especially off season!
There is a cool adventure playground for the smalls to let loose on, a tots' village for the even smaller smalls, indoor and outdoor model railways and a gift shop selling many Thomas the Tank Engine gifts and books, railway style cafe with outside seating in a beautiful garden setting, selling hot and cold light lunches, ice creams and more: everything you need to add the cherry on the top of a lovely day out!
You can also go angling at the Southbourne Lake but be sure to stick to the East and West Ends as the Southern end is for conservation only, so it's a great place to (gently) search for mini beasts and spot birds and other natural wildlife!
There are plenty of picnic spaces available for families but of course if you prefer then there are the generally homemade delights of the cafe!
And it's all owned and operated by the friendly Wadey Family who will help you with everything you need to achieve a brilliant and satisfying day out. Yay!
