Attraction Information
Michelham Priory is a historic house, gardens and working watermill dating back to Medieval times.
Explore the house with its hands-on activities and dressing up to learn more about life in the past. Every weekend you will find the Bowmen on the South Lawn offering have-a-go sessions. The watermill is open Tuesday to Sunday afternoons from 14:00 where you might be lucky enough to see it in action.
There are many events for families throughout the school holidays as well as the popular Celtic Festival in May, and Medieval Weekend in September.
Recent developments: New playground and picnic area located across the moat! Plus, fantastic interactive Medieval gallery now available in the 14th Century gatehouse!
