Broad Oak Park
Bexhill, East SussexAbout Broad Oak Park
Broad Oak Park is ideal for leisurely walks with a countryside feel. Linking to Little Common Recreation Ground, the site also offers swings and a trim trail for older children and adults.
Parking available. There are public rights of way run through parts of the site, but 2 fields are not accessible to the public and should be avoided.
Largely to be honest though it's just a park, so this is an ideal chance to go back to basics and indulge in a picnic, a self laid treasure trail (one lays it while the kids aren't looking at the playground with the other grown up!), a mini beast safari or just bring along all those kooky bat, ball or frisbee games that are cluttering up the garage.
It's really good for kids to play traditional stuff and almost entertain themselves just being kids, they don't need flashing lights and big thrills every day!
