About Get to know animals CIC
We are beyond thrilled and excited to be able to present to you our tropical paradise, that is a haven to over 300 animals, across over 60 different species.
All of our animals are (believeit or not!) Ex pet, that have either been rescued or rehomed.
Because we do not have "wild" animals and all of our creatures have been brought up with people, we are in the unique position to be able to offer very interactive animal handling experiences - as our animals love our companionship just as much as we love theirs!
Our animal's happiness and welfare is always our absolute number 1 priority, so we can never guarantee any experiences or requests as we check each animals health and mood at the precise time of each encounter - and the animals itself will let us know if they want to come out for cuddles or not!
As you arrive, you will be greeted by Lacoste our American aligator to kick off your adventure!
Take a stroll through our cute furry room, housing a selection of rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rats, mice, hamsters, degu's and ferrets.
Marvel at our incredible aviary, with many different species of cheeky parrots, parakeets, cockatoos and even pigeons, ducks and chickens!
Admire our large reptile room, housing many different amazing varieties and sizes of snakes, lizards, invertebrates and more!
Chill out in our spectacular night animal room, where you can meet incredible animals such as Giant cloud rat, skunks, sugar gliders, hedgehogs, jerboas, duprasi, Gambian pouched rats, edible doormice, tenerecs and of course our armadillo!
Get lost in our magical aquarium, where you will see sting ray, fire eel and an orray of tropical fish in this beautifully calming environment... and don't miss our frog cave where you can see some stunning amphibians!
Oh...did we forget to mention our absolute mega stars of the show, Malcolm and Margaret our cheeky little squirrel monkeys?!! And of course Kim and Aggie, our red handed Tamarin monkeys. They are sure to brighten up even the darkest days!!
We of course have a gift and snack shop for you to take away some truly memorable Zooveniers of your day or enjoy a light snack and hot or cold beverage whilst you decide what animals you would like to meet!
All this and of course much more...but we don't want to ruin all the surprises for you!!
Booking is not necessary, just come on down!!
You can also host your special occasion with us in our stunning party cave! We offer 1 or 2hr party package options, that include an exclusive 1hr animal handl8ng session, where you and a maximum of 25 guests get to meetvand hold aroundc10 different animals, including a selection of cute furries, reptiles, snakes, exotics, birds and insects!
We also welcome schools, nurseries, home education groups and offervanimal assisted therapy sessions for those living with any physical or mental conditions.
We are wheelchair friendly and there is free parking available on site or nearby.

If you love animals, but hate walking around outside all day, we are the place for you! We have over 380 animals, across 70 different species, all under one roof that you can meet up close like nowhere else! Come and enjoy a truly unique day out for all of the family!

As all of our animals are rescued or rehomed ex pets (we do not keep wild animals), that were born and grown up in predominately domestic environments with humans, they love us as much as we love them, so we can offer amazing animal handling experiences that the animals also truly enjoy!

There is nothing more therapeutic than spending time with animals! Come in and relax in our beautiful, calming, naturalistic environment, surrounded by stunning animals and truly learn how to forget the outside world and appreciate and respect some of the incredible creatures of our planet!
