Calshot Activities Centre is one of the largest outdoor adventure centres in the UK and its glorious setting gives immediate access to the country's most popular watersports location. Other natural treasures are ashore, with handsome historic hangars housing an modern climbing complex, the only indoor velodrome in southern England and a dry ski slope offering skiing and snowboarding. The perfect place to get hooked on your new family hobby!
We have a fantastic range of courses, lessons and experiences designed for children and their families, including skiing, snowboarding and climbing.
The watersports options include sailing, kayaking and windsurfing where you can take part in an experience or learn the basics to head out by yourself.

The tallest climbing wall in the south
Over 1200sqm of climbing awaits you at Calshot. We have sessions, courses and memberships avalable for climbers of all levels and abilities. Pay as you go climbing is available throughout the week for more seasonded climbers. For children we also have Take Off and Laser Climb sessions available for their first steps into wall climbing.
Stunning watersports centre on the Solent
Calshot is the Solent's premier sailing and watersports centre.
With access to both sheltered and more challenging water, Calshot can provide an experience that’s second to none in terms of excitement, enjoyment and skills development – whatever your pace.
Our watersports season runs from April - October when the water is more welcoming.
Activities include kayaking, salining, windsurfing, winging and powerboating with all the equipment and training you need to get started.
Indoor ski slope
Our indoor ski slope is perfect for all ages and abilities. From ski and snowboarding courses to ringo sessions for the kids.
Get ready for your first skiing trip or holiday with our beginner courses, available for adults and children to take part. Private lessons are also available at our centre.
Family favourite ringo sessions are also a perfect weekend activity for the kids as they zoom down the slope in an inflatable ring. Why not make the experience into a birthday party?
