During the summer months (July and August), the Kids Go Free campaign offers children aged 15 and under can explore the House and Grounds free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult.This offer is part of Hopetoun’s ongoing commitment to making heritage and the outdoors accessible and exciting for families. The Ranger Centre – Learn and ExploreA unique feature of the Hopetoun experience is the Ranger Centre, located next to the Houseand open to all visitors. The centre offers engaging exhibits and information on the Grounds natural history, habitats, and conservation efforts.No visit to Hopetoun would be complete without a stop at the charming Stables Kitchen. This converted 18th-century stable block is now a cosy cafe offering a range of tasty treats including; homemade soups, delicious cakes, and hot and cold drinks. Hopetoun’s calendar is filled with engaging events and activities throughout the visitor season. These include seasonal nature walks, family workshops, and wildlife discovery sessions led by the Ranger. Events are tailored for different age groups and interests.
