About Craigie's Farm Shop and Cafe
Take a break from city life for a day at the beautiful Craigie's Farm Shop and Café. It’s nearby Edinburgh but it has all the wonders of the countryside - from PYO fruit, to farm animals, beautiful woodland walks and an award-winning butcher.
There’re lots of activities for the little farmers-in-training. One of the kids’ favourite things to do is meeting the animals. Say “Hello” to the little ponies, the chickens and everyone’s favourite piglets. The farm cafe has a safe outdoor play area, featuring slides, swings, and tractor rides. There you can spot the playful Pygmy goats.
Visit Craigie's Farm in the summer to enjoy fruit picking season. Hunting for the perfect strawberry is a kids’ favourite, plus you can pick your own mix of berries and make tasty jam for the winter. Fancy a bit of detective work? Set on one of Craige’s Nature Detective Trails with the kids and see where the young Sherlocks will take you.
