Planet Ice Milton Keynes home of MK Lightning is all things vast and frosty: a great for families offering open skate sessions, dedicated family and awesome disco sessions, plus kid's birthday parties and some cool school holiday events! Ice skating is a fit and fun activity for almost everyone to do together and the sturdy Penguin skating aids available for hire are ideal for helping little skaters find their ice feet!
Those who discover some hitherto undiscovered skills or ambitions can take lessons in figure skating, ice dancing and ice hockey, so there really is oodles of scope for a long term hobby if they're like a duck to water (not like a duck to ice, that's rarely graceful at all!). Ice sports purportedly assist with a kids' development of balance, fitness and confidence as well as the physical skating skills themselves and the fact that they'll feel cool in every way. A great hobby!
There are loads of discounts both for individuals and families available if you pick up and Ice Card to save you a bundle on your day out but these areonly available to Ice Card holders, so why not do yourselves a favour and sign up!
And it's always worth keeping an eye on Planet Ice as school holidays approach because they very generously tend to lay some smart and seasonal special events and extra kids' games during the open sessions. As well as extending their hours considerably to allow you more time for fun! Thanks, guys!
