Attraction Information
Brandon Hill Park is one of Bristol's most popular picnic spots with plenty to interest everyone, panoramic views of the city, and spectacular sunsets.
It does not boast a great many facilities, but is an excellent place to spot and even feed the huge number of squirrels the area supports. Reportedly they will just come and eat from your hand if you sit still for a while holding nuts, so make sure you buy plenty (of the right kind, mind, ask a pet store) in advance.
There are toilets near the top ponds, close to the Cabot Tower, which are open daily from approximately 8am until half an hour before dusk.
Due to the very hilly nature of the site, access is very limited for people with disabilities and wheelchair users. Leave the pushchair in the car if you can and don't be tempted .
