Walk 1: Waterfront to College Green (1.5 miles/1.5 hours/Wheelcair and buggy friendly- with a short diversion to avoid steps)
Starting with gorgeous views over Bristol’s bustling waterfront, this walk crosses a magnificent Georgian park area, before exploring delightful water features and an ancient church. Next, you’ll discover a spectacular market with eclectic street eateries, astonish yourself with stunning architecture, and climb the famous Christmas Steps, before finishing at College Green with Bristol Cathedral as a dramatic backdrop.
Walk 2: Cathedral to Cabots Tower (1 mile/1 hour, Not wheelchair and Buggy as it is very steep in places & cobbled!)
From Bristol’s awesome cathedral, and the delightful College Green, this walk passes ancient buildings and an original Banksy artwork. Follow a street with unusual shops and diverse restaurants, before exploring some quieter streets, full of character. Now back to lively streets and stunning buildings, before escaping to Brandon Hill Park, topped by the extraordinary Cabot Tower - do you have the energy left to climb it?
