Walk 1: Bathurst Basin to College Green
From the charming Bathurst Basin, you soon find yourself at the elegant Queen Square, before passing along Broad Quay and into the majestic ‘old city‘. Next it's up the unusually named Christmas Steps, before passing Colston Hall to end your walk at College Green, with the splendour of Bristol Cathedral and Council House.
College Green to Cabot Tower
Passing the front of the impressive Cathedral, you discover the St George's area, before heading to the bustle of Park Street, with its quaint shops and restaurants. Next it's round the elegant Great George and Charlotte Streets, and into peaceful Berkeley Square. Finally, you reach the infamous Brandon Hill, to end your walk at the bottom of the Cabot Tower: do you have the energy left to climb and experience the fabulous views of the city you have just explored?
