Interactive Exhibits
One of the main attractions at We The Curious is its wide array of interactive exhibits. These exhibits cover all sorts of topics, from space exploration to the wonders of the human body, so there's something for everyone to enjoy. Kids can get hands-on with experiments, explore the mysteries of the universe in the Planetarium, and even create their own animations. These interactive experiences make learning fun and memorable, helping children develop a love for science and art from a young age.
For little ones, there’s science-themed storytelling, the 'Build-It' construction area complete with hard hats and a roof to tile, and the chance to meet a friendly alien in the Planetarium show ‘Spin the Spaceship’.

Meet the Live Science Team, who run creative activities and experiments around the building, including in the working kitchen and greenhouse. Downstairs, you can explore time, space, and happiness in the intriguing 'Project What If' exhibition, which is inspired by people’s questions about the world around us. See how it feels to turn invisible, chat with the resident robot and explore why rainbows make you happy.
Upstairs is full of light, sound and creating sensory experiences with giant bubbles, wobbly mirrors and a walk through a tornado. Discover the magic of animation inspired by your favourite Aardman characters, solve giant puzzles, build ball runs, play with illusions, and investigate how our brains and bodies work together.
Food & Drink
Feeling peckish? The onsite vegetarian café offers delicious hot and cold lunches, sandwiches, cakes and indulgent cookies, as well as coffees, smoothies and milk shakes.
There's also a picnic area if you want to bring your own food and the centre is located on the busy harbourside with a range of food options.
Keep hold of your tickets and you can come in and go out as you wish on the day of your visit.
Family-Friendly Facilities
We The Curious is designed with families in mind. The centre offers a range of facilities to ensure a comfortable visit for all. There are baby-changing facilities, accessible toilets, a Quiet Room and Multi-Faith room.
The venue is breast-feeding friendly throughout, including in the Quiet Room. Sensory bags with noise cancelling headphones are available on request (subject to availability).
