We The CuriousBristol, Somerset and Bristol
We The Curious is an interactive, intergalactic science centre and educational charity with a focus on play, asking questions and sparking your curiosity! Located on Bristol’s harbourside, with two floors of incredible interactive exhibits to explore and enjoy at your own pace. A fantastic place for curious minds.
To help you understand and get to grips with the material are the fantastic Live Science Team, who present live science shows, and run all sorts of intriguing activities amongst the exhibits, including fascinating food experiments in the Kitchen and Greenhouse. Downstairs, you can get lost in some of life’s biggest mysteries in Project What If - a new experience that is inspired by people’s questions about the world around us. You can even chat to the resident robot, see how it feels to turn invisible, broadcast a message into space and also leave your own burning questions! Who knows where it might lead?
Upstairs, is full of light, sound and creating sensory experiences with giant bubbles, wobbly mirrors and a walk through a tornado! Little ones who are under 8 get the chance to work on a mini construction site, laying tiles or climbing the scaffolds. And amateur artists can create storyboards, style their characters and make films in the Aardman Animations inspired Animate It. Don’t forget about the presenter-led Planetarium shows, take a seat for stars, stories and trips to far-flung worlds.
