Attraction Information
The fantastic facilities for families include a beautifully landscaped, 18 hole, par 3 pitch and putt course, with simple holes and pleasing hazards to keep players of all ages happy. Do remember though, it's pitch and putt rather than crazy or miniature golf: it's still loads of fun but don't expect novelty holes and comedy hazards, it's real golf in brief with spectacular views over the Pennines.
Real golf in full is also available with their award winning 18 hole Championship Golf Course, though of course one needs to be experienced and taking it seriously to embark on this. There's a pro-shop with hire as well as sales, plus you can hire golf buggies to help get the kids around.
For kids they offer their friendly and professional First Tee Coaching Sessions available at their academy, to get youngsters started on the basics in the best way.
In surrounding Heaton Park you can also find football pitches, orienteering routes, 2 adventure playgrounds, lake with rowing boats, tram rides, beekeeping association and land train, plus fairgrounds in the summer and a company running Segway tours for over 10s. Sounds like a pretty awesome day out!
