Your journey will begin by instantly downloading the route PDF. It’s packed with directions to clues all over town, most of which are craftily disguised on local landmarks. What’s fantastic about it though is the ability to download and dash out the door whenever you want.
Hastings is an ancient town with loads to delve into; take the Fisherman’s Museum where you’ll begin your journey, or Jerwood Gallery. Your quest will lead you up onto West Cliff where you’ll get a fantastic view of the town below, while the old town is full of traditional churches and narrow alleys. The trail itself should take around 2 hours so you’ve got plenty of time to investigate.

Trails are self-guided and can be instantly downloaded from the Treasure Trail website. Follow the Trail, solve the clues and see the sights on any day of your choosing. There is no need to phone up for opening details. All Trails are designed to be completed in daylight.
