For 2026, the Studio Tour has a full season of magical features and seasonal experiences planned:
Magical Mischief – A behind‑the‑scenes look at pranks, spells and mischief from the films (24 Jan – 27 Apr 2026).
Relaxed Tour – Designed sessions for visitors who prefer a quieter, gentler pace (selected dates Feb – Dec 2026).
Summer Feature (25th Anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone) – A special exhibit celebrating the first film’s 25th anniversary with unique props and behind‑the‑scenes insights (7 May – 7 Sep 2026).
Dark Arts – A seasonal Halloween‑inspired experience with spooky displays and themed décor (16 Sep – 8 Nov 2026).
Hogwarts in the Snow – A festive winter makeover of sets like the Great Hall and Forbidden Forest for the holiday season (14 Nov 2026 – 17 Jan 2027).
In addition to these seasonal features, visitors can also explore ongoing highlights such as Diagon Alley, Professor Sprout’s Greenhouse, and The Backlot Stage special effects showcase.

You will also get the chance to step onto the famous cobbles of Diagon Alley, featuring the shop fronts of Ollivanders Wand Shop, Flourish and Blotts, the Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, Gringotts Wizarding Bank and Eeylop's Owl Emporium. There are loads of iconic & original props from the films, including Harry's Nimbus 2000 and the Mirror of Erised. Plus, you can learn how creatures were brought to life with green screen effects, animatronics and life-sized models!

Transport Information
By Train:
The nearest train station to the studio tour is Watford Junction. The studio tour is just a 20-minute train journey from London Euston and a 1-hour long journey from Birmingham New Street. Take the train to Watford Junction (£4.00) and then hop aboard the shuttle service (£3.00 for a return journey) to the studio.
By Bus:
Shuttle buses operated by Mullany’s Coaches run regularly from Watford Junction to the studio. A bus is available every 20 minutes from 09:20 AM every day. The last bus is generally scheduled between 06:00 PM and 08:00 PM. Please note that you would need to display your booking confirmation to access the shuttle transfers.
By Road:
The Studio Tour is located 20 miles (32 km) north-west of London and less than 3 miles (4.5 km) from Junction 6 of the M1 and M25 motorways.
If you are arriving from London, take the A41 for 3 miles. Then take the 4th exit from the Hunton Bridge Roundabout and get back onto the A41. Stay in the left lane and take the first exit. Keep left at the Y junction and take the exit at the roundabout to reach the studio tour.
