Planet Ice Hemel Hempstead is a welcoming ice rink that's ideal for active families to come get their skate on! With dedicated family sessions as well as open skate times, birthday parties and Disco evenings available there's something here for all types of leisure skater. Ice skating is a great activity for active families to do together which is not only fun and entertaining but also increases balance, fitness and grace!
However those who want to take it more seriously can also access lessons in figure skating, ice dancing and ice hockey, so for kids who have natural skills you've got lots of scope for development and expansion led by friendly experts. Each of the available disciplines have differing benefits to to them but they all assist kids' development with confidence, balance and fitness: what a great new hobby!
If you're at the other end of the spectrum and havebeginners then they offer both one to one skating tuition and Penguin Skating Aids if you'd rather go it alone. These latter are a big solid buddy who slides a little slower than you to hang onto while you find your ice legs! Very helpful; cute too!
Plus you can get loads of differing types of discount and save a bundle on the proceedingsbut these discounts are available to the Ice Card holders only, so maybe consider doing that.
And it's always worth keeping an eye on the rink around the holidays because they kindly put on seasonal events and extra special activities to help keep the kids busy as well as extending their hours for you to get in even more fun!
