Hall Leys Park
Matlock, DerbyshireAbout Hall Leys Park
Hall Leys Park is a wonderful park with a variety of attractions to keep everyone amused. It is open all year and free to visit. There are fountains and a splash pool for younger kids, a well equipped, recently updated play area, plus a skate park to enjoy. The grass areas are well maintained, plus there are some lovely flower arrangements to enjoy.
The boating lake has plenty of ducks to feed, plus you can rent boats for a small fee. It is a good idea to bring wellies if you plan to play at the lake and the splash park. There is a miniature railway to check out, or if you are feeling more active, tennis courts, bowling greens, plus a putting green.
The paths are well surfaced, there are plenty of benches to use, and the park is a regular venue for different events held during the year, including music on the bandstand and open air cinema during the summer.
