About Gym Juniors
Gym Juniors which is owned by Personal Trainer Richard Adams (Studio 121) and his wife Emma, opened its doors to the public in September 2014. We believe that as children's bodies are developing their physical skills, it is essential to stimulate and test these skills in order to enhance the child's development. So, for example; the Little Explorers Class is specifically designed for children aged 2 to 3. At this age it is suitable for the exercise to be play orientated, but still introduces the child to some key physical development skills, such as climbing, jumping, hopping, balancing, pushing, pulling and some basic gymnastics. At this age it is suitable for the child's parent or carer to be present and this class helps guide the parent with physical activity play that can be conducted in the home.
As the child becomes older, the classes change to become relevant to their physical development stage. Gym Juniors' classes range from Baby Yoga, right up to Kickboxing for Girls aged 11 to 14!
Gym Juniors also has dedicated soft play hours from 11am to 3pm every weekday, for the smaller children, so parents or carers of young children can pop in for a play. We have a cafe selling hot and cold drinks and snacks.
Gym Juniors also has a Climbing wall, which is proving popular with the older children. We hope to commence Climbing Wall classes in the near future. We also provide private children's party facilities.
