Zoom On Forest Segways

Ever wanted to ride a segway in the middle of the forest? Well, now you can! Go Ape's Forest Segway experience is a must-try experience.

This is Cheshire’s ultimate Segway experience. The all-terrain Segways will allow you to take in views of special scientific interest, including a rare ‘quaking bog’ which is home to some of the UK’s rarest wildlife.

Weather permitting you can skirt the beautiful Blakemere Moss – a flooded wetland formed during the Ice Age.

Explore Delamere Forest

You and the family can spend the entire day at Cheshire's largest area of woodland. Delamere Forest is home to a rare ‘quaking bog’ and the beautiful Blakemere Moss – a flooded wetland formed during the Ice Age.

You'll also find a number of easy-going walking trails in Delamere Forest. You will love the incredible views and will see plenty of wildlife.

Gruffalo Orienteering is a fun family map reading challenge. Using a simple map can you and the children find the twelve Gruffalo markers hidden deep in the wood?
