Nestled in the picturesque Delamere Forest Park, Go Ape is an ideal destination for a family day out, packed with outdoor activities. With adventures for all ages, from explorers over 1m tall right through to daring adults, there’s something for everyone!
Returning this autumn - Sundown Adventures!
Back by popular demand. Experience tree top thrills in a whole new light across 25 locations for a limited time between 17th October and 9th November. Go Ape Sundown Adventures offer a new level of forest fun in the dark. Become a creature of the night as you climb through the canopy on a high ropes course lit with colourful lights. Test your skills on tree top crossings and experience the thrill of a zip wire ride into the darkness. It's a unique opportunity to enjoy the forest's beauty and experience the adrenaline rush of adventure after dark. The experience takes one to two hours, and the Go Ape team are around to help throughout. It starts with a safety briefing and harness fitting. For ages 6 and up (minimum height 1.2 metres) this is an adventure that will delight kids and adults alike.
Fun Activities for Thrill Seekers
Treetop Adventure is the first rung on the Go Ape ladder for little ones (over 1m tall) just growing their tree-legs. They can reach the leafy treetop in the forest canopy for the ultimate forest adventure and family-fuelled fun. Not forgetting reaching the daring obstacles like the Stepping Stones to the Button Bridge and the Criss Crossing. Where you can enjoy a zip-wire experience! Perfect activities for adventurers for young and older apes!
Feeling brave? Treetop Adventure Plus is the next step up for daredevils (over 1.2m tall) looking for even trickier and more intricate crossings and a solo zip line! Treetop Challenge (suitable for adventurers over 10 years and 1.4m tall), promises dizzying heights, high-speed zip-wire and one of the biggest Tarzan Swing drops!

Head off on a two-wheeled adventure, zoom down cycling paths and explore the forest! For the kiddies, they can enjoy a Gruffalo Orienteering adventure, with a fun, family map reading challenge - can you find all 12 Gruffalo markers?

This is Cheshire’s ultimate Segway experience. The all-terrain Segways will allow you to take in views of special scientific interest, including a rare ‘quaking bog’ which is home to some of the UK’s rarest wildlife.
Weather permitting you can skirt the beautiful Blakemere Moss – a flooded wetland formed during the Ice Age.
