Barnabys Playbarn

For pre walkers the friendly folks at Barnaby's have a soft play area with squashy bricks and developmental toys ideal for smalls. Then there's also a special area for under 3s, with a neat little slide, a big ball pond and lots of colourful things that make funny noises to help keep them entertained while they run hide, climb and slide! You can also get in on a Jo Jingles music and movement class for the smalls usually held on Wednesdays and Fridays (except during school holidays).

And for the bigger children there's the full size play area, festooned with fun features like rickety rope bridges, super wide racing slide, wibbly wobbly walkways, agiant ball pool and loads more to explore too. It's great for exercise, social skills and general confidence as well as meaning you get an hour off to talk to other parents or read a book. Aaahh!

There is a 4' 9? maximum height restriction for play frame safety, and again for health and safety socks are a must so if you lose one or forget them they can be purchased here reasonably. They also offer parties here and you can choose from the rather wonderfully named Super-Do, Super-Dooper-Do or Exclusive-Do, plus choose from extras like face painting, balloons and pass the parcel. Yay!

Plus Barnaby's Playbarn is located at Blakemere Craft Centre which is a beautiful Edwardian stable block and cobbled courtyard, home to numerous craft shops great for a wonder about, especially if you've brought grandparents along with you!
