Attraction Information
Puppies!! Need we say more? At the Guide Dogs National Breeding Centre, you can see the puppies in their kennels, as well as learning loads about the amazing job guide dogs do every day.
An interactive two-hour tour will give you an insight into a really important phase of pup development where they experience everyday sights and smells for the first time while developing all the necessary skills to be a guide dog. The team use lots of the latest breeding technology which you can get to grips with on your tour. Plus… it’s free!
During your time at the centre, you can wave to the puppies and adult dogs through the viewing windows, see the breeding centre and travel through a sensory tunnel, blindfolded! This will give you a brief sense of what it’s like to live with sight loss and will no doubt make you love your new fuzzy friends all the more! Afterwards, visit the gift shop, and enjoy a yummy refreshment.
