Explore a brand new interactive and immersive exhibition that examines the emotional connection between cars and sound in "Beep-Beep, Yeah!: The Sounds and Songs of the Motor Car"!
From the engine rumble to the rhythm of your favourite tune, discover the strong relationship between sounds and our driving experience. The music we choose to listen to influences the way we drive, and sounds of the cars themselves have an impact too; songs we love can shorten a long drive, the roar of an engine can awaken emotions - why is this and how have cars been designed to encourage this reaction?
Explore these questions through a range of exhibits, from star cars like the 1965 Rolls-Royce Phantom V, once owned by John Lennon, to interactive exhibits, including the chance to feel the roar of a BRM race car’s V16 engine.
With our brand-new exhibition space, The Rubery Owen Gallery, we have the space to explore more than ever before! Visit the exhibition today and see for yourself...
