Attraction Information
RSC Tours offers the opportunity to see a different side of the Royal Shakespeare Company, by going on a Family Tour or making a quick jaunt to the top of the Tower to see the stunning views from the top.
A number of tours are available at the RSC, such as Behind the Scenes, and After Dark Tours, which has stories about ghosts and things that go bump in the night! However, they are more suited to adults and older kids, whereas the Family Tour is aimed specifically at younger visitors and explores the theatre making process.
The guides will provide interesting information about Shakespeare, Elizabethan theatre, and why we have theatre today. They will also share some behind the scenes secrets, such as how effects are achieved and costumes are made. Kids will have the chance to try on a costume and handle some props.
For a small fee, you can also travel to the top of the RSC Tower for a fantastic 360 degree view of Stratford upon Avon. You don't even need to climb the stairs, as there is a lift to the top!
