The Weird Walk of Warwick
Warwick, WarwickshireAbout The Weird Walk of Warwick
A 90 minute walking tour through the streets of Warwick, hosted by your guide, the strange man known as Warrane Worthington.
You’ll hear tales of murder, ghostly visions, and famous characters from history.
Taking place on selected dates, The Weird Walk of Warwick takes you to historic buildings and special locations in Warwick town centre. There, your guide will tell you of the incredible stories that took place on that very spot.
You’ll hear unbelievable tales from history, from the hellhound that stalks the streets around Warwick Castle, to the night the Gunpower Plot came to town, and even the ghost that haunts the Lord Leycester Hospital.
As the night grows darker, you’ll head to the old courts of Warwickshire, where the very worst criminals in the county were brought to trial, and to their death.
If you’ve ever wanted to do a ghost walk or history tour of Warwick, this is your chance!
Why is it called the Weird Walk of Warwick? Because it contains too many strange stories to simply be called a regular Walking Tour!
The most interesting and gory parts of Warwick History
This tour is exclusively about ghosts, murders, legends and famous faces from the town of Warwick.
No stuffy, boring history stuff, just terriyfying tales, bloody executions and spooky sightings from 1000 years of history.
You'll hear about the Gunpowder Plot, the Great Fire of Warwick, the Earls of Warwick Castle and even see Warwick's old gaol and execution site!
The only attraction in Warwick about the town's ghosts
Did you know about the headless knight who roams the Tudor hall in Warwick? How about the giant, black dog that still prowls the cobbled streets? Or even the murdered girl who appears in a dark tunnel in Warwick?
Not only is this the only attraction that uncovers these terrifying tales, but you'll visit the very spot where these sightings occurred!
Will you see something supernatural on your tour?
Plenty of scares, surprises and special effects
Just because this is a walking tour, doesn't mean it's just walking and talking.
This tour incorporate magic, pyrotechnics (that's fire!) and secret props that will excite, delight and terrify younger (and older) guests.
Will you be the next victim?
