Pull back the curtain to uncover secrets and stories from 100 years of theatre at the Royal Shakespeare Company.
All aspects of the company are opened up for families with an interactive exhibition and a veritable treasure trove of curiosities and artefacts. See the costumes and props used on their hallowed stages, get right up close to rare copy of Shakespeare's First Folio. The exhibit is entitled 'The Play's The Thing' and it's sure to inspire some theatrical behaviour.
Aspiring actors can try on virtual costumes in the 'digital dressing room' and even perform in front of a live - virtual - audience! Then take a trip up the Theatre Tower to get a panoramic view of Shakespeare's home town and explore the backstage areas on a guided Theatre Tour.
The RSC also offer free activities all year round, including a family trail ideal for young explorers and a dressing up box filled to the brim with real costumes.
