Stratford Town Walk is a Best Visitor Attraction Godiva Award winner. Guided walks around historic Stratford upon Avon, 365 days a year with local professional guides. Explore Stratford, its history, attractions, and fascinating relationship with William Shakespeare. As you walk in Shakespeare's footsteps through the historic town see the Shakespeare Houses, Grammar School, Royal Shakespeare Theatres, timber framed buildings and visit Holy Trinity Church. Hear fascinating stories of fire, plague, medieval cures, old fashioned sayings and history of the town, wrapped up in a little Shakespeare. Discover favourite tea houses, pubs, shops and restaurants. Don't forget your camera! No need to book, just turn up on Waterside, opposite Sheep street, near the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Wheelchair friendly. Dogs welcome. Duration up to 2hrs. Customers are given a ticket with 5 tear-off vouchers to save money in Stratford at selected shops, restaurants, pubs, coffee shops and attractions. E.g. Butterfly Farm, river cruise and Shakespeare house entry. Stratford Town Walk Guides are available for private walks or coach tours.
