Cliffe House is set in 10 acres of beautiful gardens and home to a fantastic woodland adventure playground for the little ones to enjoy!

Let your kids loose on the huge playground! Watch them zoom down the giant tyre tunnel, wave down from the cool tree-top walkways and whizz across the scary zip wire. Next head over to the slimy Snake Garden, home to a giant snake, fortunately only made of stone so you needn't brush up on your Parseltongue! This area includes den building facilities, a fire pit and a picnic area.

Spend the day with the Adventurous Activities Team for our Family Adventurous Fridays doing a range of outdoor activities including climbing, archery, bushcraft. Or leave the children from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm to explore the grounds with the team and make new friends.

Nice woodland adventure playground but it is only suitable for 8 years plus which isn't stated on this Cliff House info. My 3 year old was far too small for most of it. For older children it is probably extremely good. The garden is nice with lots of butterflies (a large lawn) but isn't as huge as led to believe as all other areas weren't accessible to the public. The cafe was not open when we went (Thursday at 11am) so we didn't stay for very long.
