For a splashtastic day out, look no further than Huddersfield Leisure Centre Splash Park. Whether sliding or swimming, there’s plenty to keep little limbs busy.

Kids typically make a dash for the water flume and soon as they have their cossies on, and continue to do so for a good few rounds! Amongst the super slides are the Sidewinder which boomerangs you sky high then back down to ‘earth’ in a huge rubber ring. Then there’s the Lazy River which as the title suggests, floats you around bends and past water cannons at a lovely, gentle pace.

The centre also has a 25m eight lane pool where serious swimmers can train, while your little water babies can splosh around in the kid’s fun pool and build up confidence in their swimming ability.
