The fan-favourite feature of Huddersfield Leisure Centre is, of course, the impressive array of water features! From interactive fountains and splash pads to gentle streams and water jets, the splash park provides endless entertainment and lots of family fun!
Kids typically make a dash for the water flume as soon as they have their cossies on and continue to do so for a good few rounds! At the Huddersfield swimming pool, you'll find super slides like the Sidewinder, which boomerangs you sky high and then back down to ‘earth’ in a huge rubber ring. Then there’s the Lazy River, which, as the title suggests, floats you around bends and past water cannons at a lovely, gentle pace.
Toddlers will love the gentle sprinkles and smaller water features, while older kids can experience more adventurous elements like water cannons and spraying arches.
The centre also has a 25m eight-lane pool for swimming, where serious swimmers can train. And your little water babies can splash around in the kid’s fun pool and build up confidence in their swimming ability.
