Attraction Information
Colne Valley Museum is an 1850s revival exhibit and features a recreated period kitchen and other historical elements that add a great atmosphere to the experience! An absolute treasure for kids with curious and imaginative minds.
Visit the Loom Chamber, Spinning and Cropping room to help them foray into textile history, and venture into the clog maker's workshop with its full range of intriguing period tools.
There's usually something new to see in their Exhibition Room and there are often traditional spinning, weaving and clog-making demonstrations to watch! There also may be some supervised activities such as painting, paper modelling, or storytelling, or children can help themselves from the bookcase to read on the rag rug.
