About Town Playcafé
FABULOUS FOOD & DRINK:
Our number one priority is kids having fun! However, a close second is offering fabulous food and drink for kids and adults!
All of our food from the kitchen is made fresh to order, including child favourites, paninis for adults but also some rather unique offerings you won't find anywhere else such as:
- Fluffy pancakes with Nutella and Strawberries (kids and adults)
- American style Grilled Cheese sandwiches!
- Avocado on eggs (with poached eggs)
We also do a decent coffee (which is a MUST for a soft play!) and a fantastic trange of cakes baked by our brilliant kitchen team, including:
- Caramel Biscoff Brownies
- Classic School Sponge
- Large Fruit Scones
- Cornflake Tarts
- And so much more....!
PLAY AREAS:
We have lots of different play areas here at Town Playcafé: from a soft play frame, to role play areas, a sensory room and dedicated under 2s area for babies and toddlers!
For little ones we have an under 2s area, where babies and toddlers can play safely away from the bigger kids exploring the shapes and colours in here.
Why not play with all of the sensory attachments on Cuthbert (the sensory caterpillar). There's also the mini ball pool and a comfy sofa for the adults with a book corner to relax!
We have a space themed sensory room: a calm space devoted to relaxing and developing the senses. Including a range of sensory toys & lights for your little ones to explore, as well as a rocket ship for any budding astronauts.
For bigger kids you'll find a jungle themed soft play area, with snake spinner, infinity mirror, biff bash bags and of course the tiger slide! (There's lots more in there too)! A perfect way for kids to burn off some energy, before exploring the rest of the Town!
ROLEPLAY & IMAGINATIVE PLAY AREAS:
We have a fantastic range of play areas for your little ones to come and burn off some energy and let their imaginations run wild!
Come and visit the town post office, shop and vets! Pretend you are the shopkeeper or care for the poor little animals needing treatment at the vets.
Or why not play on our Pirate Ship: a great place for all young buccaneers to play, along with the Ocean themed ball pool with ball shower machine!! Watch how when you feed the balls in, they all get stored up and..... 'Shiver me timbers!!' they all rain back down on you!
There's also the Construction Yard: The perfect area for those future builders / engineers out there!
Come and jump on the digger and scoop those bricks up. Or you can help move things around using the wheelbarrows! Make sure you put your Hi Vis jacket and safety helmet on first!!
You'll be amazed how these interactive role play areas encourage your children to use their imagination and really play with each other, rather than just alongside each other. Not only that, but learning through play is now widely recognised as essential for learning and development in young children!

We have a range of mascots to choose from if you would like an appearance, and the birthday child gets a FREE play pass to use for their next visit!
