About Spiceball Park Banbury
Nestled in the heart of Banbury, Spiceball Park Banbury is a picturesque haven for families seeking adventure, relaxation, and quality time in nature's beauty. From lush greenery to exciting playgrounds and jogging trails, Spiceball Park promises an unforgettable experience for parents and children alike.
Things To Do
Spiceball Country Park is a beautiful green space in the heart of Banbury. This 26-acre park is the largest park in town and the perfect place for families to embrace the natural landscape.
Whether you looking for a scenic stroll, a place to run around or the ideal picnic area in Banbury - Spiceball Park has it all! The park's main area is mostly grassland so it's the perfect place for ball games, kite flying or running around! Plus, the picnic area has free-to-use, do-it-yourself barbecue equipment! Did someone say the ultimate summer picnic?
There are also lots of accessible cycle paths that run through the park perfect for bike rides, wheelchairs and pushchairs! Fancy a little workout? The park has a range of fitness equipment and circular routes ideal for walkers and runners.
The country park is a combination of 'cared for' and 'wild' areas, split by the River Cherwell with the Oxford Canal on the western side. There are wooden bridges that connect both sides. Across the river, there's a wilder part with lots of trees, bushes, and nature trails, looked after with the help of Wild Banbury to support local wildlife.
Spiceball Park Play Area
Spiceball Country Park has a well-furbished children's play area complete with swings, a climbing frame and more. There's even a skate park next to the play area with 2 skateboard ramps to tackle.
There are also plenty of benches next to the circular footpaths, so you can relax while your kids burn off that excess energy!
Spiceball Park Banbury is the perfect park if you are looking for a fun picnic, somewhere to let off some steam or just a leisurely stroll!
