Upon entry you’ll get an A4 guide, don’t lose this it has everything you could ever wish to know about the old Cistercian Abbey! They even have a scavenger hunt for you to play with the little ones, learnings never been so fun.
As you wander around look out for the beautifully well-preserved carvings, they’re a definite highlight and are not to be missed. They’ve even managed excellently upkeep a 17th-century gatehouse, which is home to a series of exhibitions telling you even more about the history of the site.
