About Castle Adventure Open Farm

Castle Adventure Open Farm

There's loads to do at Castle Adventure Open Farm and conveniently some of it is inside, some of it is outside: bring it on weather, you've got it covered either way!

There are plenty of kiddie pleasing animal activities to enjoy under cover in their barns, including everyone's favourite: bunny cuddling! There's also Lamb Bottle-feeding and much more available seasonally it depends when you visit!

You can also let them loose on the huge indoor activity centre, where they can pelt about with abandon and explore the many floors of the vertical climbing maze! Best for younger kids, with a separate area for toddlers and smaller.

If you've got the weather for it then step outside and take a trip on the barrel train, drive a real digger around the sandpit and discover their huge outdoor Adventure Playground! Even more physical play equipment, and ideal for older types.

There's a cafe but you're allowed to picnic outside if you prefer and there are all weather surfaces so you don't get too muddy! In fact the only thing you can't do is go into the castle itself, as handsome though it is to look at the structure isn't safe. Other top tips include there being disabled access throughout the farm and accessible facilities, plus baby changing, a Lost Child meet point and a First Aid Station!

There are parties too, which come with access to everything and there are several bonus extras you can order too…

Please note that the sat nav struggled with this one so the coordinates given will be the centre of Ballymacaward, not necessarily right at the farm, so do please plan the journey independently!
