Attraction Information
Creagh Equestrian Centre is an AIRE approved equestrian centre with BHS Instructors, boasting indoor (30m by 60m), sand (25m by 38m) and all weather (45m by 85m) arenas. The weather can throw what it likes at you and they've got it covered! Beginners are more than welcome and the horses and ponies are matched intelligently to the needs to of the rider, so you won't get a nervous kid on a bucking bronco!
Lessons are taught by a friendly, qualified instructors and are available for all levels of rider so the learning doesn't have to stop once they've got the basics: this is a good place to continue your training too. Hats are provided, but as you cover your own footwear it is recommended that the rider wear boots such as wellies or riding boots, for the mount's safety and comfort.
Because there's no hacking or trekking offered, this really is a place to learn and develop together rather than a casual day trip. However for a casual day trip they welcome families for single bookings so you can give it a try without any commitment.
Additional facilities on site include the heated viewing area, showers and change space, PA system with commentary and judging area and kitchen facilities, Notable for horse owners are the stables, large carpark suitable for horse boxes, a power hose for washing down the happy horses and ponies.
