About Appleby Leisure Centre
Appleby Leisure Centre on Chapel Street is a warm, welcoming spot next to the River Eden, a short walk from Appleby train station and close to Appleby Castle. The 25-metre, four-lane pool is joined by a learner pool that's perfect for younger children building confidence in the water, and the popular Better Swimmers Sooner programme runs children's swimming lessons here. There's also a gym, junior fitness classes, Aqua Splash sessions and birthday parties, with both pools available to hire privately for celebrations.
