Adventurous Activities
You'll find a whole host of adventurous activities to try, enough to keep the whole family busy all day! From the Fforest Coaster and Treetop Nets, to Zip Safari and the giant Skyride! Get to grips with the sense of speed as you zoom down zip wires and conquer your fears on the giant swing.
Have fun altogether as you fly 23 metres up in the air on the Skyride (a five-seated swing)! Did you know it's Europe's highest giant swing?! Overlooking the Conwy valley, you and 4 others will be 80ft in the air... Waiting for the moment when you're hurtled back towards the ground, a moment you can share with others. Can you feel your heart in your mouth? Yep...that's the adrenaline rush!
Pair up and take a 100ft drop on Plummet (7+). Did you know it's also the world's first tandem drop experience? Or take on an Zip Safari (an experience for ages 9+), a truly epic adventure filled with an incredible sense of achievement. Zip line 60ft above the ground, as well as facing various obstacles. With 21 zip lines, and 17 elements like rope bridges, netting and balance boards...you're in for a real treat. Zip, jump, balance and hop with the family! Delve into our huge woodland bouncy nets or tackle our treetop adventure course equiped with zip lines and fun obstacles. From downloadable invites and delicious food to thrilling outdoor adventures, we take care of the details so you can focus on the fun.
Watch your little adventurers make lasting memories as they laugh, play, and complete exciting challenges together. With party experiences designed for children aged 4–15, you can choose from our Adventurer, Explorer, or Ranger packages—available at select Zip World locations across Wales and England. Want to level up the celebration? Our premium package includes your own dedicated party space to eat, dance, and play in style.
Scenic Views Then, head to the treetops for some thrills against a backdrop of breathtaking Snowdonia scenery. Bounce and slide on Treetop Nets, face zips and obstacles on Tree Hoppers (5-12). Two thrilling adventure courses amidst natural settings.
At Zip World Betws-y-Coed you’re never too young for an adventure! Tiny daredevils (3+) are welcome to join you for a 710m journey over the woodlands on the Fforest Coaster, Britain's only alpine forest roller coaster of its kind. You won’t have to worry about the ride being too scary, as you control how fast you go. Plus, you get to ride 3 times with 1 ticket. It's the perfect choice for families as you speed through a stunning woodland setting and admire the spectacular views!
Stay overnight at Zip World Betws-y-Coed
The Forest Lodges sleep up to 2 adults and 3 children, with a private hot tub or outdoor bath on a balcony overlooking the forest and Moel Siabod mountain. Available to book directly via the Zip World website.
Food & Drink
Betws Burritos is the on-site restaurant at Zip World Betws-y-Coed, serving hot food, locally sourced coffees, teas and snacks. A smaller Snac Shac kiosk is also available on site. Visitors can also bring their own food and eat at the outdoor picnic tables. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are available. The site is cashless - card and contactless payments only.
Seasonal Events
Ffear Fforest runs every October at Betws-y-Coed, from 9th October to 1st November 2026. When the forest goes dark, demonic clowns take over the site as you tackle the adventures at night. It's North Wales' biggest annual scare event and regularly sells out - book early to avoid missing out. Tickets from £38.00.

After all the excitement, head to Betws Burritos for hot food, locally sourced coffees and snacks in the woodland surroundings - or grab something quick from the Snac Shac kiosk on site. Relax and refuel in the beautiful Welsh woodland surroundings. The cafe stocks a locally sourced menu and a variety of cold and hot drinks.

Britain's only alpine Fforest Coaster
This alpine coaster takes riders on an exciting journey through the forest, with twists, turns, and drops that are sure to thrill children and adults alike. The coaster can be ridden on your own or it can accommodate two riders; an adult and child. This toboggan-style roller coaster can reach up to speeds of 25 mph, but the brakes can be controlled by you if you want a more leisurely descent. Each ticket purchased will allow you to ride the coaster 3 times!
Treetop Nets
Let kids unleash their energy in the Treetop Nets, an expansive netted play area suspended high above the ground where they can climb, bounce, and explore to their heart's content. Nestled amongst the trees, explore the nets discovering slides and treehouses dotted throughout the course. Kids from the age of 3 can take part with an accompanying adult.
Tree Hoppers
Perfect for younger children, Tree Hoppers is a tree-based rope course including wobbly bridges and treetop crossings, designed to test balance and coordination in a safe environment. Tree Hoppers is the little sibling to our Zip Safari which would be perfect for older children. Children under 8 years require an adult to join them on the course. This course is perfect for the budding mini adventurer in your family.
