About Harlequin Puppet Theatre
The Harlequin Puppet Theatre, built in 1958, continues to present shows which fascinate children and delight adults. Superb Puppetry and Magic produces Fantastic Entertainment in this Award-Winning theatre.
The theatre opens for all the main school holiday periods. From a wide repertoire of stories, musical and fantasy items a different show is presented for each half term holiday.
As well as the main production each show also features “Mr. Bimbamboozle and his Magic Tricks” with much help and participation by the children, and every performance concludes with a selection of items in “Marionette Cabaret”. This popular section of the show allows the children to actually see how the strings are pulled. Most performances last around an hour and a half.
