If you've got an adventurer in the making and you've got the nerve to accompany them, you simply can't do better than Go Below! An amazing subterranean sporting experience that'll take in a series of exciting challenges including elements of abseiling, zip lining, scrambling, traversing, boating and climbing, all deep underground beneath Snowdonia!
Kids 10 years old and over can undertake the Go Below challenge, a 5 hour long and pretty intense experience! You'll be fully guided and looked after as you cross zip lines and traverses, clamber up rock faces and waterfalls, boat across water at high speed and abseil off ledges! This is one experience the kids are never going to forget!
Things to bring include your refuelling snack for the underground picnic (cool!), a hardy camera and a torch if you want one but everything you want to take must fit into a hands-free backpack: your hands are largely going to be very busy! As a bonus, the friendly expert guides can teach you all about the mining industry and its history as you move through the less strenuous parts.
If this isn't enough for your adrenalin fix then check out Go Below® Xtreme and Zip Below Extreme; these experiences are for over 18's only but your initial trip with the kids is a great chance for you older types to check it out and see if you can face even more!
Other trip types are available with pre-arrangement including full day multiple-mine adventures, short taster trips, evening trips, photography-specific trips and underground treasure hunts.
